And don't forget the rounds are expensive 1.50-2.00 a piece. DE's are heavy and bulky and difficult to modify, not something I would carry around. I shot the model you are looking for the thing is a cannon. BTW plan on running around at night with a red scarf around your face? :P
Good luck.

I had one for a yr, it was fun pulling that out during hunting season when everone has 9's. but after while like reef tanks it's time to change, but it's fun to shoot every thought of the big bear stopper the SW 500 revolver that's a big bang

That meant I saw this thread, I then read it and then I laughed. If you really wanted a desert eagle, I would assume you would probably go to a GUN dealer over posting on a website devoted to marine aquariums. Sure, this particular forum may be non-aquarium things, but seriously? A .50 caliber hand gun? That's not what anyone would consider an "everyday" firearm.
But carry on though. There's always a chance. :)

Danny, this is for ALL NON AQUARIUM RELATED things, maybe you have a little reading comprehension problem.
either way, there are a few of us here whom also have a couple of pea shooters and from time to time we may sell them here, so dont be offended or surprise about it.
This is BTW Texas, just in case you came from another state where things like what we do here are not allow.
and thanks for letting us carry on.
50 DE are nice guns and Carl is big guy, he'll handle that just fine, thanks for your concern.
and a carry a 45 and I consider it to be a everyday firearm.

Jose,
Apparently it is you that has the "reading comprehension problem" because if you had read what I posted (assuming you have the ability to do so) you would have seen that I had mentioned the fact I knew what forum I was posting in.
I've lived in Texas most of my life other than the time I served in the military so yes, I am quite aware of how most Texans are when it comes to firearms. I'm still not all that clear on why this was even brought up and why you had to start defending Texas.
You are most welcome, I think.
I'm glad you know that Carl is a big guy and can handle his firearms. I never once questioned his ability to handle them so I don't see your point. All I said was that I found it funny to see a post on a website that is devoted to saltwater tanks looking for an uncommonly owned handgun. I can speak of the uncommonness because I am very good friends with a few gun dealers of which two of them have class III licenses and have been in business over 20 years each. These are the types of things we talk about quite a bit.
There are quite a few folks I know that also carry .45's and so on and so forth. These are generally more common than a desert eagle which was pretty much my whole point. I figured there would be one or two dense folks that would take my reply as some sort of insult and be defensive for whatever reason. You should just come to terms with this is a public website and there may come a time where someone posts something you may not understand or you might not like. Take a deep breath next time and try and think things over before you reply. :)

Carl,
If you would like, I can put you in touch with some of the guys I know who sell me my stuff at their cost which is much cheaper than what you will find in a store these days. In fact, I will be seeing one of my dealer buddies later today and I can see what he has on hand and what his price would be should he need to order.

Danny, there are alot of firearms that have been sold on this forum. I've personally purchased and sold half of dozen firearms from members.
On a diferent subject I can't believe TRS is still up and running. I used to visit that site 8 years ago or so.

you would have got more than one PM from other members asking you to help them out, but the tone(and tone in the internet is relative) indicated that you were been a smart ***** about Carl's request.
thanks for your service to our country.

I know what you're saying, Jose. Tone isn't the easiest to decipher over the web and me being an ***** usually doesn't help. I just like to try and poke fun every so often to get reactions. I don't mean anything by it. :)

That's a steal. I saw the same AK about a month ago at Nagel's gun store off San Pedro for about $900. Before Obama that was a $450 gun tops. I guess I'd do the same thing if people wanted to give me double for a firearm. You can never be too armed for Armegeddon.
