post a photo...want to see if it looks like mine. I was sold mine as an elephant ear shroom and it's just about that big...bright green. My clown occasionally hosts in it and it's never tried to eat it...even one of my old tangs use to hide out in it.

Here is a picture of one that is very similar to mine. This coral will eat all of your fish it has already claimed 6 or more fish, some large. "Feed me Seymore feed me"

Still have it, but I am waiting to see if Rabandanmarco wants it... If he doesn't then I will let you know. I was going to bring it to the LFS but I want to make sure people understand that this mushroom will eat fish. I have had these in the past without a problem but this one has aquired a taste for fish.

yea i don't wanna kill any of my fish anytime soon...so after a day of pondering i decided that i wont take this guy...my clowns are almost 2 years old and i dont plan on getting rid of them anytime soon...or at least have a Venus flytrap like mushroom eat it....though it is prabably one of the coolest things i have ever seen....was this in your tank when i was there

Thanks very much Troy, very generous with what you offered. Awesome tank you have, It reminded me of low tide in great barrier reef. I have put the culprit at the far end from his brother. Wonder if there will be some M.I.A. when I wake up (lol). By the way the hairy mushroom are green and purple. The purple sometime turn brown, you could come and pick them out when you want.

Oh one last thing from one yank to another, fuggedboutit.
