Found this thing crawling around on one of my rocks. It's about a cm long kinda brownish green with the defined spine. The underside looks smooth and the top is spiney/hairy. Anyone got any ideas? Is it harmful to me or anything else in my tank? Will it be a nuisance if I put it back?

Great thanks a bunch. Every now and then some weird little thing pops up and stumps me. I just bought some new zoas from AquaDome. It must be from there.

OK what about this guy. He came hitch hiking on my zoas too. I think it might be a nudi but I'm not sure. I saw him the first night and lost him after that. Sorry I couldn't get a great pic of him.

Yup, Zoa eating Nudis, very common on wild caught specimans, you need to get rid of those NOW!!! Freshwater dip, manual removal... Do some research and make sure you kill any eggs.... You'll be busy tonight!

Ugh well that's bad news. Yeah I should have gotten a macro lens for my camera a long time ago. Is it 100% that he will attack my zoas? He was on there the first night like I had said but he caused no damage that I can tell. I haven't seen him since and it's been about a week now.

Yes, good read Jim. I'm up against Acro eating red bugs from a new frag... I always have known to dip and I use to dip but I've been lazy...now I have to pay!

Take that colony out asap so the nudis don't spread to other zoa colonies. Fresh water dips do a good job of getting the nudis to drop off. Carefully examine the zoa colony for eggs. Carefully scrape them off and use an iodine base dipping solution to wash off the colony. I'd then put the colony in a QT and observe. The chance that you completely removed/killed every egg is slim. The good thing though is that since they're QT'd, when the eggs hatch you can remove the new nudis before they are mature enough to lay eggs. Simply repeat the aforementioned process, QT again, and if all looks well, put the colony back in the show tank.
I learned this lesson the hard way. Nudis infested my tank about a year ago an it took a long time to completely erradicate them. If I had known better, I would have done as I suggested and nipped the problem in the bud instead of dragging my feet and letting them reproduce. They can really put a hurting on your zoas. When they're small, they're pretty hard to see. They change to the color of the zoa they're eating. Keep an eye on all colonies. If the zoas are closed up, suspect that they're being irritated by nudis and treat as I mentioned before.
