Ok i have my 90g doing well pretty much stocked the way i want minus more corals. and A buddy of mine had a 12g jbj i beleve that he gave me since i hooked him up with an overflow/pwrheads/quietone return pump. Anyhow we are always trading frags etc. so i/we (my wife got excited about it which is wierd since she hates the 90g) are going to be buying the viper 70w clamp light. and setting up the 12g soon. I am excited and already thinking about live stock for it (yellow goby/cleaner shrimp/and something else small) any other ideas for live stock would be helpful. and of course i will post pics when the setting up begins.

Ok so before this weekend, i got my stand in, its the JBJ S-style stand. The tank took me like 3 mins to put togeather with my drill. So i set the tank on the stand. then the bug hit, in goes the sand, in goes some dry rock, in goes mixed saltwater, on the 11th my viper 70w shows up, hopefully this weekend i go and get some tonga live rock, to finsih my aquascaping, tank is cycling as we speek, pics coming soon......

What are your plans to stabilize the stucture? I have some ideas that I used in my tank.

Are you going to make a tank journal/thread? I enjoy following along, especially nano builds.

THis is the thread LOL, i plan on epoxying it togeather which i am picking up this weekend with the rock, i have some peaves of dry rock i did in the tank as a base and going to work off that. So this will be the thread for the build. I just need to get the pics so far taken so i can post them on here. just kinda hard doing at work lol.

THis is the thread LOL,

I created my rockstructure out of the water too. I found it much easier to deal with rather than fighting wet stuff. I used expanding foam to hold my rocks together. The stuff is so strong that I could lift my 45-50 pound rock structure out of my tank in one whole piece.

So this will be the thread for the build. I just need to get the pics so far taken so i can post them on here.

See my first point, lol.

lol might try it for sure

Only drawback to the foam is that it makes a mess. Get a feel for the foam on some cardboard or spare rock. Remember that it is expanding foam, lol, found that out the hard way.

i followed your build its nice

Thank you. Glad to hear that someone was following along.

On a side note, I enjoy following along on the RC Large Tank forum. Some of those guys have really crazy setups. They practically rebuild their house around their tanks.

speaking of which new pics?

Yep. Post 203 on...

Yeah i am going to add some more rock this weekend, to make like a bridge in the middle going to the front of the tank. the light i got on sale 140 new from dr foster and smith, no heat issues and its a 70w halide really happy about that. now for it to finish cycling. "just keep swimming" i keep telling myself from nemo movie.
