I just bought a 5 lb container of this:

http://www.marinedepot.com/New_Life_Spectrum_Marine_Fish_Formula_Sinking_Pell et_Food_Small_Sized_Pellet_Fish_Food-New_Life_International-NL1113-FIFDDRPTSWSP-vi.html

It's New Life Spectrum Marine Formula - recommended to me by Bob Fenner when he was looking at my tank. Bob says it's the best on the market, and I've been using it since. It's expensive by the smaller container - a 0.66 lb container from Marine Depot is $15 plus shipping or $23/lb. I bought a 5 lb container for $60 (actually, $59.74 off of fleabay). I can use 2 or more lbs.

If there's anyone out here interested in any of this AND that doesn't think I'm a total jerk, you are welcome to partake in my purchase.

Unlike some "deals" on MAAST, I'm not making any money on this (OK, full disclosure here: I think I'm making $0.26), I'm not getting my 1 lb for free. If no one wants any, I'll just put the rest in the freezer, with my 25 or 30 lbs of frozen food.

If you want less than 1 lb, feel free to post and maybe someone will split it with you.

I'm expecting this to arrive next week sometime. I CAN deliver this to Corpus Christi - but it may be more than a week.

This is NOT a "first come, first served" deal. In the event that more than three people are interested, I get to decide who gets it.

NLS = the snipsnamsnizzle of fish food. Great deal for the best fish food around.

Hey Bill -

We might be interested in a lb. IF you are not in a huge hurry for the pickup. I'm still out of town for about two more weeks and would prefer to connect with you when I get back. Let me know.

Also, and I'm kinda surprised this has not been metioned by anyone else... how did you happen to have Bob Fenner look at your tank? Just curious, but if he is responding to dinner invites, I can cook a mean meal and will give him the best seat in the house, right in front of our reef!

I might have to practice saying "snipsnamsnizzle" if we buy this food, though.

Bill,
I'd like a pound. Just let me know when it comes in. I'd be glad to swing the money by beforehand if you want.

So, Bill was looking to sell three pounds and now has four interested buyers. If any of you guys (David, Andrew, or Jack) would like to split a pound, that'd be just fine by us. I would imagine that a pound of those sinking pellets would go a LONG way.

I've been using this stuff for quite some time. Its fun watching my scopas dive bomb to make sure she gets every piece.

Is it just me, or is Bill's comment much shorter and less profound than it was yesterday? I wasn't offended by the fact that he really offered a fair deal.
