spider web like substance

Can anyone tell me what this is growing on my rocks? It looks like spider web, several of my rocks have this growing on them. Is it good for my tank? If not, how do I stop this from growing on my rocks? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Is your rocked cured? Looks like you have die-off. As the rock cures it will go away. I would during the curing process, siphon and do frequent water changes, this will minimize the loss from the rising ammonia.

I could be wrong but it may also be the mucus made by the mushroom. (now, i don't know if it'd be THAT much). I usually just siphon it out with a turkey baster so it won't stay in my water, continue doing water changes, that'll definitely help!
