This critter is in my soon to be sister-in-law's 55 gal. It looks kind of like a bristle worm but is shorter and fatter. It's also green. She says it stays mostly in the same spot of the tank on the sand bed. she notices it about 3 weeks ago. Any Ideas? I have found nothing like it on the links here or on the web.
Pictures are from my phone... Sorry they are bad. I'll try to get better ones next time I go over there.

Lol! Thanks guys!
Yeah. I know the pics are bad. She is supposed to be sending me better pictures. These pictures look worse than they did in photobucket. Guess I should have previewed it. Live and learn.

LOL! I never got back over to her house to take a better picture.
It was some kind of green bristle worm. It had bristles but was much shorter than a regular bristle worm.

Maybe it was a bristle worm. The sharp edge looks as if it had been chopped in two pieces. This website calls the Green Leaf Worm

That might be it! As I recall it was about an inch long and and about as fat as a... err... ummm..... green bean. LOL

Maybe it went through a powerhead or something.
