Where can i buy some eggcrate locally? (HomeDepot, Lowes, Walmart)
I dont think i have ever seen it in any store, but if some do carry it what is it called?

Home Depor and Lowes both sell it. Ask where they have their fluorescent light diffuser panels (usually by the lumber).

The Lowes by my house has it on the back wall next to where the lumber isle starts and the home depot has it up front by the lighting isle. It's probably different in every store but as recoiljpr said, they both carry it. I want to say it was $7 or $11 for a 2'x4' piece.

ya the employees are little special ed at home depot lowes. took me almost an hour to find it anyone i asked for eggcrate they were like what? once i told them it was for flourecent light like what you see in most elevators they knew what it was should be around the flourescent lighting area

I would check home depot before Lowes. I've been able to find it at home depot every time I've looked (even if it is only an empty box), but I've never found it at any local lowes

It's definitely in the fluorescent aisle.

You can also get it at Regal Plastics on rittiman road. They carry the heavy duty eggcrate which is twice as thick as the stuff at HD & Lowes. Sometimes they have black eggcrate in stock.

I got mine at Home Depot. It is actually a florescent light fixture grate. It was only about $3. It cuts really easily as well. They also had a silver color and I think black.

I got mine at lowes in the lighting area also but they don't call it egg crate
