i recently moved my 80 gallon tank up one flight of stairs. tonight i noticed that one end of the centerbrace is completely detached about 3/8" from the tank. its slightly bowed at the top. should i break everything down or will it hold? thanks...

I wouldn't take everything down. You could probably use a car jack and a large board to prop it up so that you can reattach the brace.

Need to repair it asap... Clean the old silicone off and reinstall the brace using new silicone and a barclamp... Lowering the water level will make it easier to do the work. Good luck.

okay...moved all livestock into a 40 gallon for now. hopefully tomorrow we can repair the centerbrace. does anyone have those clamps? it'd be great if i could borrow them for a few days.

Theyre cheap at Harbour Frieght and really handy to have around.... Go get you a couple...
