My stupidness

So after some reasearch i found out my t-5's whites were your standard 6500k well today i got 4 new 12000k t-5's and put them in the tank. WOW talk about a differance for the better looks much more like a tank should. so now that i fixed that stupidness i have 4 48" t-5's used for 3 months they of course are 6500k 54watt. want them pm me free.

I have 10. Mine are 48". If any one wants them they can have them.

lol yeah i starting looking more at my fixture when i noticed it. so then i jumped on the website i got the fixtures from and bam sitting there like a sore thumb they said 6500k so i fixed that and put in the 12000k much much better corals have to get used to them now. pics to come soon

I think the 6500s are for plant growth. They are really yellow.

What brand are the bulbs? I'm wondering if they are compatible with freshwater plants.

I would think that no matter what the brand the 5K bulb was it would work great for plants since it has more of a yellow spectrum that closely resembles the sun

anybody who lives in SA know ^^^ want to get the bulbs to him but he might not make it to the grand opening of gulf reef before i leave there and looking for somebody that can hook him up with them if i leave before he makes it there
