Random Polyp ID [Archive]

I got a piece of live rock a week or so ago and it has a bunch of polyps. They look like zoanthids but have a different oral disc structure. Does anyone know what they are?

In the top picture, they kinda look like slightly stressed out Zoas of some kind reaching for the light.

If your talking about the tan ones. I went to my LFS and they had some like that lablled zoos. so could be a different type of zoo. but they also look like my flower pot coral in a way minus the lack of color but flower pots come in a varity as well.

Yep, I was so close to saying those were zoas from the cruddy pic but you never know until you have a clear pic.

Hey, I have an eye infection in the left and straining the right, and I could tell.:wink_smile: Actually, the polyp looked too small for a zoanthid, and the stem did not look like the one of a flowerpot. Lucky guess.
