Bird!

I am still in search of a pet bird. but after visiting many birds i have also come to like some conures and Lorys as well as the big parrots and macaws. Does anyone know of any for sale. you help is much appreciated!

id prefer not to ship a bird and be able to see the before i buy them, but that website has some awesome stuff! haha i work at the zoo... maybe i could work something out like i can have a egg of the bird of my choice and in return i sign away my life to them.. haha jk

The City of San Antonio Animal Control sometimes has birds that get confiscated from pet stores and drug busts. They have a $10 bird adoption fee. A friend of mine got a conure through them.

Lories are kind of a bad idea. Do you homework. Birds are loud and messy. Some are louder and messier then others. Lories are squinters, I think. That is bad. Conures are a good hearty starter bird. Sun and Jenday are very colorful, and not too loud. I liked mine. I stepped up to a cockatoo (really loud) and an African Grey (not too loud). Lots of work and long life, be cautious.
