FRAGSWAP TRADES THREAD

hey guys i decided to start this thread to give members who want to trade at the swap a chance to preview what we all got. again posts in this thread are strictly for those looking to trade frags. if you are looking to sell, you can start a pre-sale thread like some of the other members have done.

also, we want to keep this neat and orderly so no pad posts. just items available. and we can try to follow the same theme for each post.

this thread is for all members looking to trade their stuff at the swap. post what you got. so others can see what will be available.

Not sure what I did wrong but my previous post was evidently cleared (I was not attempting to sell here).

I plan to bring the following frags for trading:
4 Krypto Candy Cane (2-4 heads each)
Green Star Polyps with very long tendrils (1" from head) - can make several 1-2" frags
7-8 Torch Coral (very full heads)

I hate to frag these if there is no interest, so please indicate if so.

My question is this, for people who don't have frags to swap, how are other traders assigning value to their frags? I'm new to the hobby and am not sure what a lot of frags that I would want are worth, and how much the frags that I have are worth. In a swap how do you tell what's fair besides just knowing what you want? (for example, comics, baseball cards, etc. all have price guides telling what things are worth)

EDIT: actually vwmike your post was not cleared. you posted it in the frag swap thread in the announcements forum. lol. it is still there. and dpotts has stated that she is definitely interested in picking up some krypto candy canes. ~alex

My bad, couldn't figure out where my post had gone. :)

I'm looking for softies and LPS.

So did my fragging last night and ended up with (not all will be avail due to possible pre-meet trades with local ARF members). If you definitely want something, reserve it now!

5 Krypto Candy Cane (2-4 heads each)
2 med size Green Star Polyps with very long tendrils (1" from head) around 2" circular on rock
2 Torch Coral with very full heads (3rd frag not looking good)

I was able to get one great frag of my whisker coral (duncan)

I plan to bring some sps frags that are alive but just not liking my tank. Let me know if you're interested and i'll bring them
