Is there any way to tell good/bad nudi's apart look at pics and alot of them look the same. Basically i picked up a cheap zoa frag today and noticed a little hitchhiker. trying to decide whether or not to throw it in tank. kinda fig if i found a nudi on some zoas prolly the bad kind any help appreciated ( frag was about 10 polyps free floating)
will try to get a photobucket or something set up in next few days so i can post pictures.

It is a good possibility that that was a Zoa eating Nudi, I would not take any chances with it...

Bigbird is correct, the zoo eating ones that i have seen are small like about a quarter inch and they almost look like star polyp.

They reproduce rapidly and will devour your Zoas.

They can be killed with a short dip (minute or so). Some use RO water, some use iodine-based dips. But dips only kill the adults. Egg cases must be manually removed.
