I got a Radiant Wrasse today. I'm a bit concerned that he has been hiding since I put him in the tank. In fact, I have no idea where he is. I'm assuming under the sand, but your guess is as good as mine.
Is it normal for a wrasse to hide for a while after being added to a tank? The last wrasse I had was a six line wrasse. He never hid. I don't have the six line wrasse anymore.

We had one that was "in flight" for over a month.....I thought Steve had purchased a new fish..lol.
When I purchased my Coris from Mr Cob, he thought he had previously bagged it, we could not find it anywhere...as soon as we left his house, the fish came out of the sand and swam across the tank....lol.
By the way, that's a beautiful wrasse....when I purchased mine, it did not arrive, so I purchased a Mystery instead.

Haha, awesome. Just making sure that it was normal. I lost a Kole Yellow Eye Tang earlier this week and I am not keen on having another dead fish.

I added a Neon Goby to my nanocube Wednesday night... I have not seen the slightest evidence that there is a fish in that tank. Checking in the day, in the night - nothing. It's as though the fish never existed except I have my wife as a witness and a receipt.

I've been keeping my eyes open for a Neon Goby. I've been thinking of getting one as part of my clean up crew.

Also get a red LED flashlight and when your main lights go out see if he come out then. They do take a while to acclimate and it may be weeks before you see him. If you do see him try feeding it so it can become accustomed to you nearing the tank. GO SLOWLY!!!!

He's out swimming now. I fed the tank and he ate. He seems to be okay with people walking up to the tank. He didn't even flinch.
