kenya tree dropping branches

my kenya tree has dropped about 7 branches within a couple of weeks. is this bad or is it just reproducing? and would anyone like some?

It's just reproducing. It's normal. Mine does it all the time.

thats why i got rid of my mother colony, i still have 3 6inch ones, yes thats what they do make lil trees, just grab them and stick them in some rock or coral rumble they attach quick, sometimes i toss them when have to many frags or take them in for store credit, look at my thread in nano section 12g jbj someone called it a tree farm

My Pom Pom Xenia does the same thing. It seems natural and they just get bigger.

My Kenya tree did that shortly after I brought my 3 inch frag home. The mother colonys is about 8 inches now and I have 5 or 6 4-5 in colonies and a half dozen smaller that that. I am sure I will need to thin soon before they take over the tank but I kind of like the way it loos with so many all over the rock.

I have several large Kenya forests growing my tank. I even have Kenya Trees growing out of my koralia pumps.

if anybody is looking to rid of some kenya i would be glad to start some in my tank just shoot me a pm i am located in kingsville but can drive to corpus on a weekend or austin area around the july 4th weekend.
