I got a new 90 gallon DSA Neo on Friday. I got a new sump today, a PM 30 with fuge. I setup the tank today and it is all up and running. The fuge will be a future project.

As long as you transfer all your old water and sand from the old tank you shouldn't really have any issues. Couple of weeks back I upgraded from a 55 gallon to a 110 gallon tall with no real issues. My GBTA was about the size of a quarter for a couple of days then finally opened up.

Looks great! Did you use your old light turned sideways?

Haha, yeah, I used my old light fixture. It seems to do the job now but I may get a new one in a few months. We'll see how the coral reacts.
Here's what it looks like from the side:

Its a great tank. I love it. I transferred all of the rocks and water. The sand is new. The old sand was pretty manky, but I used precycled live sand. I've used it in the past when moving tanks, its never been a problem.

I got it at a LFS. it's just bagged sand. The bag has water in it and live bacteria. I just everything in immediately.

Be carefull, the pre-packed live sand just is a sand with a squirt of bacteria added. Your tank will still cycle, just a little faster.

I keep close eyes on my babies. I haven't had any losses and two of my three shrimp have already malted. Even my anemone is happy. Yay!
