Before I begin my thread, let me tell you what happened this past week. My 29G BC had a small leak Memorial day weekend. So of course I had to take everything out and fix the problem. I was very careful not to harm my live stock. I managed to fix the leak and put my clowns and goby back in the tank. This was a week ago and my clowns have just not been themselves. At first I thought they were stressed out. They sit in the corner and just swim in their up and down fashion, but that's it. They don't go out and swim the tank as they did before. Also, they're not eating as much as they did before either. My scooter blenny and diamond goby are perfectly fine.I'm at a loss as to what to do next. My levels, salinty and PH are just right. Not sure what to do...any advice?

How did you store your livestock while you were making the repair?

Aquarium sealant. Not sure the acutal maker but my dad ( User Name : "allan" ) picked it up. I think he got it from AD down on Brooke Hallow.

my levels are all 0 (am too).
The male (smaller one) hovers around one of the vents in a corner. The larger one almost sits on top of one particular spot on a rock. The smaller one ate today, but the larger on hasn't really touched her food.
She has had a long string hanging from her rear end. It was about two inches, now it's about one. Constipated? I thought maybe she was putting down eggs, but I don't see any. She doesn't appear hungry. She seems full.
I stored them in my dad's fuge during the work on my tank. It has been a full week since that issue.

if you didnt put the rock exactly how it was in the first place they are stressed out because they think it is a new enviroment. this happend when i transfered my live stock from a 46 gallon to a 55 gallon....i mean think of it.
you emptied it out. and when you move around the sand you release some of the toxins that were in the sand to begin with. then you added your fish again. and if everything isnt how it was before they take it as if it was a totaly diferent enviroment.
this is an educated guess...but i think it sounds right

Yeah, the rocks are in a different set up. We didn't have this problem (?) The first time we put the fish in the tank that's why we are concerned. Toxins from the disturbed sand? I can see that, but if so, definitely not nites, trates or am as those numbers are all zero.
Like milly said earlier, they appear healthy and alert, only moma isn't eating and she won't leave that rock for nothing. The male does eat and both the gobie and blenie seem to have not diminished their appetite.
