I just got these 2 picassos and one was in the overflow for 3 days. I finally got her out and this is her behavior...

How long have you had them and were they alone (and happy) in the tank before you picked them up? Only thing that comes to mind is which one thinks it is the female/male.

they were fine until one of them got lost in the overflow

you should get one of those cubes hobo made for his betas.....but if that continues, i dont think it will be good....it probably went into the overflow box to get away from the other one (perhaps).......overflow box = refuge......i had it happen to me about 3 weeks ago, little different scenario, but in my case, it saved the fish
