I plan to visit corpus this weekend I was thinking about checking out a place for corals (more exotic stuff). Also looking for fellow reefers that might have some nice stuff to sell. Let me know

Only two places are Tropical Fish Haven and Aquarium Masters. Aquarium masters carries more of the SPS corals than Fish Haven, but fish haven has some nice softies right now and some random other corals you might be interested in. If you need directions just let me know.

Not to bash on the haven, but if you're looking for anything "exotic" then that is not the store to go to. You'd be much better off at Aquarium Masters.

Petco also have some coral and fish. Nothing exotic but they sometime have Carpet anemone for a cheap price. Aquarium Masters have nice SPS, sometime nice anemoness. Tropical fish Haven coaral selections is on the slim side with mostly LPS.
heath wise, you just have to check the fish and coral at all three places.

just a word of caution, have had friends buy livestock from Petco (CC location) and in more than one occassion the fish have been sick.....just be careful....ill buy dry goods there no problem, but it would have to be the deal of the century before i put anything from their water into my tank....

also, while i am ranting about this place, the one in SA on Bandera and 1604 wouldnt sell me fish bags a couple of months ago, laughable (long frustrating story that is just stupidly ridiculous on their behalf)......haven't been back since

Also may want to check out Jonthefishguy, not sure if he has a store front, but I am sure he offers nice coral, and could probably get you any fish desired.

Jonthefishguy is great and a nice guy to deal with.
The Petco here in Corpus Christi is reasonable. Sometime one of their system got disease in it but on the whole, they take fairly good care of there animals. They certainly have healthy carpets. You can't beat green stripe carpet for 21 dollars.

From past experience I would avoid anything from Petco, but go take a look for yourself. If you find a tang or angel that isn't covered in ich I will give you $10!

Yeah, only time I ever bought something from petco was when a friend of my fiance's was working and he gave us a rock with 4 large green rhodactis mushrooms on it for $18! Otherwise I avoid it like the plague!

Yes I am in Corpus as well but no we do not have a store front at this time. We have our online store where customers can order from. Corpus Christi residents do not pay for shipping of Live Animals and like all shipped orders, have a 24 HOUR LIVE ARRIVAL GUARANTEE* as well. For local residents, we simply deliver them to your door on a scheduled time and date.
