I had a new sump built this week. Just spent many hours installing and replumbing tank.

The overflow chamber is in the corner of the sump. It seems to be overflowing. What can I do. I cant run the sump because it will over flow onto the floor.

I'm really not sure how that is possible....

Your overflow should only produce a flow rate equal to whatever your return is pumping back up to the display. So if you have 500gph return pump then your overlfow will only produce 500gph. I'm by no means an expert, but I think it is physiclly impossible to overflow a sump as you've described.

How exactly are you draining the water from your display to your sump? Are you using a typical overflow box that flows into some type of piped plumbing?

Can you take a pic of the overflow and your plumbing?

It is a 125 tank.
2 corner over flows plumed with 3/4 pvc into 1- 1 inch intake
into corner overflow in sump. Return is 2- 3/4 pvc spray bars powered by a Gen x 1200 gph pump.

I just installed a new sump and replumed to get rid of some leaks as well as for the new sump/fug

When I started it up again the intake started to buble over the edge and out of the tank.

don, you cant put anything in the bottom of that bubble tower - it clogs the teeth and will not let the water pass thru. i water tested it with my water hose on full blast in there and it worked fine. you need to get that green stuff out of there.
