If you can, get a model 2000 slim so you can homebrew it. I don't believe that a 3000-series PSP can be homebrewed just yet.

I've homebrewed mine (a 2000) and I've got it loaded up with all kinds of emulators for the NES, C64, etc. Opens a whole new world.

Oh yeah man, I posted this thread on my PSP. I am fixing to get the Targus Keyboard for it! I want another one to share games with. I have something like 100 or so games. Dark Alex is the man.

I have a fat psp and it's modded just fine.

i have a red god of war psp that i might be willing to let go with a 8 gb memory stick that i might be willing to sell...pretty much brand new since i really don't have the time to play with it. about how much are you wanting to spend.

It's not to say that you can't mod a fat PSP, because they will mod just fine. It's that the slim is better, if you can get it.
