Tank Size for Yellow-Eye Kole Tang

I'm looking to add a Kole Tang to my reef tank but I'm getting weird info on the internet on the Min tank size. So if anyone has any opinions on the matter I'd appreciate it.

how big is your tank?

My reef tank is 55gal its the long shallow type. And I dont want to add him to the Larger Fish Only tank(75g) due to the other tangs already in them.

i am probably going to hear from the tang police for this. i have 3 tangs in my standard 125. they ar all between 4 and 5 inched they all get alone well and all have hiding places for them. when i introduced a new one i would move the rock around and make sure to put lots of hidding places for them. they are doing great its been almost two years now. i want to add a 4th but they are doing good and i don't want to mess up the good karma they are having now.i knwo when they get bigger i will have to move them to a bigger tank.... hope this helps you
