I have a 144w 29 biocube, it has 2 Actinics bulbs and 2 white bulbs, the 2 white bulbs are wired to 1 ballast, today they did not come on with the timer, when i unplug the ballast and plug it back in, it works for a few seconds then goes off again. what should i do. Thanks for the help.

Did you try switching the bulbs? If the other set does the same thing, then you've got a short on the ballast. Check on warranty. Or, get the model # off the ballast and google for a replacement. If you want local, give Dealers Electric a call with your ballast info, to get price and availability. Good luck!

If it is under warranty call the store you bought it from and they will replace it. If it is out of warranty, then Aquarium Designs sells replacements for the Oceanic Bio Cube. The only question is the stock Bio Cube comes with 2 - 36 watt CFL's, where did the 144 watts of lighting come from?
