I am trying to learn what is best for my system and have seem many references here that some people say they feed twice a week, every other day, etc and started to wonder if I am doing something wrong.
I am trying to provide a diverse feeding regimen to prevent nutritional problems and my feeding schedule is as follows:
In the moring I feed a good quality flake food (Omega Marine) followed by a small amount of frozen brine shrimp for those who will not eat flake food. (Bangai cardinalfish)
At lunch I feed frozen Angel & Butterflyfish food -or- frozen tang diet (I have a blue Hippo tang and a queen angel).
Before I close the office at 6pm, I feed either frozen mysis, krill, or plankton. I have plenty of algea that the tang and angel pick at all day.
My parameters are normal and no slime algea, hair algea, etc so I feel I am not over-feeding.
How do you feed? I was always under the impression marine fish feed constantly in the wild and needed frequent feedings to do well. Am I over-doing it?

Twice daily. Flakes and pellets for one week, dry enriched brine shrimp for the non-flake eating clown goby. Frozen the next.
As a foot note live foods will contain enzymes to help with digestion.

4 x daily with a combo of pellets and frozens and dried mysis. Oh yeah and a algae clip every other day for the tangs. I just try and vary it up. I feed small amounts each time though.

My home tank is a 30 g cube with two Percula and an Mandarin with a thick sand/rubble about 5 inches deep. I feed it twice a day with flakes and cyclopeeze. Enough that the two clowns are really full with leftover for the thousands of animals and worms in the sand bed.

Wow, I feed once every other day.
Glad I'm not the only one that felt this way. I feed 1 cube of a mixture of frozen foods every other day. The tank's microalgae and pod populations take care of the rest.

Oops I also have a dwarf lion who strangely enough I never feed. I have no idea what he eats. But he have been alive for 8 months and no problem he looks happy. The other fish pretty much leave him alone.

We feed daily a frozen mixture of PE Mysis, Brine and Cyclopeez, with added vitamins and nutrients. Add several sheets of Nori for the "Wrecking Crew," of Tangs. This is in the 280G.
My tank, a 54G corner, I also feed ORA Glo pellets for the Naked Clowns....and add a partial sheet of Nori for the Starry Blenny and Chevron Tang, along with the frozen mixture.

I see a lot of people feed Cyclopeez. I Google'd it and found references to feeding it but no vendors. I have not seen it in the stores. What is it and where do I buy some?

You can purchase the frozen package from B&B, or Dr Fosters and Smith when they have it instock. :) Not sure if any of the other LFS sell it in frozen package.
You can also purchase it freeze dried in a canister, it's a powder form.
Info from Dr Foster and Smith:

I feed a very small amount once a day and some times I skip a day. I have a small 24 gallon with lots of zoas, a purple firefish, a blue damsel and a green goby. It also has 1 peppermint shrimp and a bunch of snails.
My food is a mix of all kinds of frozen foods that I thaw out mix together and re-freeze into small flat baggies.
I turn the pumps off too, when I feed.

Well, a lot of the way I feed is actually from Ace. I guess you could say im in his store about every week it seems and ive learned alot from him. I currently have a 125 gallon reef tank. I feed mainly frozen shrimp, spirulina brine and cyclopeez. Ive tried pellets but my guys in the tank like to chase their food. I also dose with Vitamine C and garlic to help build their immune systems. I try to feed about 3 times a day with each feeding equilvilant to about 2 frozen cubes. Also clip nori every other day for the tangs and rabbitfish.
