Anyone use this stuff? Its a liquid. Supposedly add it to the tank....it binds the phos, and gets skimmed out. Too good to be true? Would be nice not to mess with filter bags and reactors.

I believe it is snake oil and personally don’t believe in adding chemicals to the tank. I can’t count how many times I have read on numerous forums how someone became impatient and added one of these wonder cures to their tank and soon after experienced disastrous results.

Ferrous Oxide has proven to be very safe method for binding inorganic Phosphate PO4. I prefer Phosban brand because it has the least amount of residue.

i don't know about phos buster, but i know that the product made by korallin that does the same thing works very effectively. i think it's po4 minus, and they carry it at marine depot as well. immediately after adding it the skimmate produced shifts to a darker color.
