Sweet setup, might I suggest keeping the rock away from the class for cleaning?

Does adding the sand after the rock improve stability? I've never tried that.

That looks just like the set up Darth Tater was selling. It certainly has a lot of potential, good luck.

lol :) that is correct :) darth tater sold it to me :) he is a great guy, super funny. i like adding the sand after the rocks are in place because it tends to hold them in place a little better. its really to your own preferance, lol everyone knows the rockscape is gonna change anyways so i dont think it really matters lol.

hey guys so the cycle finally started i saw the spike in ammonia and now the waiting process begins :) anyways while its cycleing i figured i would mod it while i have the chance :)

so i changed the maxijet return from a 900 to a 1200, put the 900 in the tank for flow. will be getting the upgrade mod for the maxijet to create more flow. i broke up my huge rock i had in the back right corner and made rubble for chamber #1 and i split it in two to make two more rocks in the tank :) looks pretty cool to me. i also painted my pendant over the tank black :) looks awesome (got the idea from the guy at THE CRITTER SHOP here in san marcos) thanks bro. i also raised my light off of the water more to nine inches instead of 6. i was haveing a problem with heat so i thought this would help and it did. :) got a couple more mods going to be coming b4 the cycle is complete :)
