Hey guys,
When I first join MAAST, back in (oh god I forgot) I was eager to join as a charter member. In the same week upgrading from web to charter, I was already checking out what was for sell etc etc.
Anyway I saw a skimmer and a anemone for sale by seatrueblue. And I hit her with a PM. Came the weekend and my wife, son, and I were heading to San Marco to pick up the skimmer and possibly the anemone.
When we saw her tank.... My God, it was awesome. There were two large beautiful anemone in that hugh tank with a gorgeous setup. Great display of rock scape from fiji to tonga. Two great looking blue strip clown.
My wife and I were just amazed on how her MCA and PLTA were large and healthy looking. The pic that she posted did do justice at all. We chatted for a bit and got the skimmer (I really wanted the other anemone for sale), and continue our day at San Marco.
Throughout the ride, my wife and I could not stop talking bout the anemone's and how beautiful the was setup. To my surprise my wife went pricing for tank. We alway talk about upgrading but to my surprise I did not know how serious she was.
Until the next day... We got a 125 gal. I was like...wow. I could not speak I was in shock for a very long time. Well needless to say we got the tank.
Had help with bring it home.
We know and decided to take our time with this one. I really meant take out time. Yeah right. We put water in it realize that it was leaking. Call Jason from AD. He came out and fix the problem in seconds (big up to j).
Then it was not level. I hated to waste all that water so I to save as much as I can for my other tank. But most of it went to waste along with salt. One could imagine how I felt.
With a back injury, I tired to not do to much of heavy lifting. But I could not ignore the empty tank with sand and rocks.
Short of it all finally got it level and cycling water. Hopefully I'll have pic of the tank up to share. I'm finally exciting and cannot kept my eye off of this baby. Even if just sand and rocks.
Eventually, it will house my pair pink clowns, my pair of maroons blue damsel and blenny. BTA and seabe. And the rest of sps and lps.
