I have sold 2 cardiffs and 4 solanas and havent heard negative feedback about it. I did recently have feedback on currents decision to discontinue their aquapod line up and people couldnt find stands for the 24 anymore. Also I think (not sure) but think that oceanic is also doing away their biocube line up as well.

I have a solana that I can comment on.
Pros: rimless, skimmer and heater section, modifiable 2nd chamber, many lighting options, loc-line return
Cons: top-off bottles, comparatively expensive, unhinged glass lid

Overall I am very pleased with it. My only other experience with a nano was an 8 gallon odyssea.

Why was the aquapod discontinued? and what have you sold the cardiffs for?

I have the original Red Sea Max, modified a little with some of the components available for newest version. It is great. You will need a chiller with this tank, despite what Red Sea says about fans, etc. I use a 1/10 hp chiller on it. i use it mostly as a quarrantine tank.

I got a 29 g Oceanic cube. It is great. I also have a 24 Aqua Pod with 150W MH also great. Any specific question you have?

Yes, why has the aquapod discontinued? I have heard of leaks, as well as fans that run loud.....but i have also heard good things....just curious

Current stated that they were just focusing on a new line up, the solana and the cardiff.

When I got my AquaPod, the first thing I did was seal the top. The leak complaints I read about were not actual leaks but more of a overflow where the top plastic meets the acrylic. People complain that if they fill it too much water would seap through the plastic. So I sealed it with aquarium sealant. No problems.

Of these small tanks, I like the29 g cube best. I usea CPR hang on skimmer for "sump" where I added drips and heater. Here is a picture of this tank

i have a older jbj 12g i love it, i kinda wish i would of saved up and got one with better lighting but all my corals are doing good. lots of room in the back to put stuff in, i just run LR and sponges for filtering, conns fans are lil loud, i only have one running but it does help. i would like a better light but the new ones come with that option, again i only paid $60 for mine.
