Anyone know of a really good product to make topoff/water change water with? I don't have the funds for a RO/DI filter.

If a small tank, I would just buy the RO/DI by the gallon from a LFS until you can get a unit.

Tell ya what.

Come over and get rid of all my GHA and I'll buy you a unit, of my choice ;), from BFS.

75g tank. :< I've been using AquaSafe and that's what has been keeping my parameters pretty good. I just wanted to know if there was anything better.

Have you scoured Ebay for an el cheapo unit? I saw a few spares laying around at Prof's; see if you can get one cheap from him.

While chemicals work, the ultimate problem is TDS. Chemical methods can't touch those.
Prime is good though. I use it for my FW setups.

Depends, do you look nice in a bikini? Or struggling(Jim Rome/ strug-a-ling /Jim Rome) HS kid trying to do SW.

I think Prime is the best chemical dechlorinator.

Really, RODI is the best route. Extra chores will help generate $. The BFS unit I use is ~$200 with shipping. A few yard mows, garage cleanings, etc will get you there quick. Just ask the 'rents.

Hopefully. :P I'm going to ask Dave what he has.

Thanks for the help guys. :)
