The frags will be individually labeled as well. What we usually do is label the frag bags with the name of the coral and the customer, then rubber band together all the frags that belong to that customer. I hope that made sense.

We will be adding some more zoas and palys either tonight or tomorrow, or both.

Did anyone get anything other than there order? I didn't order AOIs and Lemon Ladies and received them, but did not receive my Exploding Sprinklets and Venoms. (The Nuclear Fire Frogs did not look well, so I did not receive them)

Mark, when I purchased my Tubbs, it took a few days to open.
Half of ours haven't opened, and one of the frags I can't tell if there is polyps on them. I will continue to be patient.

I really wish they would have said on the site (disclaimer of some sort) these were going to be newly cut frags. I personally would not have purchased them. I feel that corals should always have the chance to heal before shipping. I had to re-glue two of them right out of the bag :((

My frags are still opening up... but some other zoanthids I received a day before from a different online retailer are still opening up too (not fresh cut). These will need some time. They may take up to a week or two to fully open before calling them dead.

I would suggest waiting a couple of days until you hear from more of us in regards to this order. I was extremlely upset that all of my frags were fresh cut frags that have not healed yet. It looks like some of the polyps are not going to heal since they have shrunken as if they are melting which can be common when "mass fragging", which is why frags should have the chance to heal before shipping especially when you are selling them PER POLYP!!!

I don't want to jump the gun, but, I'm thinking there is some photo enhancing going on. But that is purely speculation at this point since I can only compare one frag of the 5 I ordered.

I know the xenon palys and several others I got from rommel(ultimate frags I think) took a month or better before they got over being fragged and started looking like the pics on his site in fact they all kinda looked the same cause they were similar morphs and all washed out.I was sad at first but happy now. On the other hand I have had many others never color up and look like the pic I purchased,bummer. By the time enough time has passed to know for sure I could buy frags from you guys.

The Lemon Ladies are taken with some good macro lens :bigsmile: Some higher specturm lighting definitely brings out the difference in color. These were taken under some new T5s.

Here's the status on mine:

Lemon Ladies: 5 polyps all opend up
AOI: 3 polyps finally opened and 2 polyps melted away
Prowlers: 2 of the 3 polyps melted away and one is left and has not shown any signs of opening...it's a little dot.
True Blues: All polyps are still closed, two are showing signs of opening but they look very bad.
Pink Winks: 2 are partially open and look like they will make it, the other 3 melted away.

All in all these should have never shipped and should have been given a chance to heal so that the seller/store could have filtered out the bad ones thus preventing the gamble they took on sending us them.

I know they got hit with back to back LARGE group orders and as a result....this is what happens.

I have shared my experience with the zoanthids.com staff via email directly from their "contact us" link and all I can say is they have A+++ customer service. They addressed my issue quickly last week and asked that I wait a couple of days. I waited 5 days then contacted them again with an update. Once again they got back to me quickly and made it "right".

They have turned a bad experience into a happy experience. It's business like this that makes a difference. Now, I can truely recommend this business because if you don't get what you order they will make it right.

Maybe I need to contact them myself as my prowlers just aren't there (still somewhat hopefull but not too). I will say that my purple eaters look great but I'll take a pic of the prowlers and send it to them if necessary.

I contacted them 24hrs after I got the order...my blackhole suns were melting. They replied promptly offering to replace it and an additional 10% off for my trouble... So now I know what to expect in regards to their higher than usual stress, I might adjust my acclimating. So I don't feel I have much to lose.
I was also looking at some zoas on other sites and colors like these were 2-3x more!:wub:

When I called and spoke to Holly, she assured me it was nothing they had done, when I called paypal, they debited our total, without the discount, then they credited us the discount, then debited the new total, then credited us for some zoas, they did not send, due to they weren't sure if they would survive. Paypal thought our account had suspicious activity, so they put a hold on it.
I haven't called them back, after the iniatal call. We received zoas we didn't order.....to sick to even bother calling them....

Send them an email and they will take care of it. It may have been a group order, but it was handled individually. How can they help you if they don't know there is a problem. They are very friendly and back their service. Doesn't sound silly to me. How many sites out there are willing to take care of your complaint with no questions asked? Not many, most make you go throgh countless emails and phone calls and only offer a discount or free shipping or some sort to calm you down.

Sounds like PayPal to me! I hate PayPal! I would seriously call or send them an email at zoanthids.com. I was very unhappy with my order from them as you know from my posts, but once I took the time to let them know there was problem...it was then solved. They can't fix what they aren't aware of. Sorry you even have to deal with this!!!!


All...I started another thread for a group order from the same place. If you get a store credit, now would be the time to use it so that you don't have to worry about shipping.

They have WYSIWYG on the site now...and the owner said there will be more tomorrow and Wednesday. The final date to put your order in is this Sunday at midnight.

Screw it. ( I know a family site) Cheri's experience is probably typical after they got a few calls. Me, I will chalk it p to being poked in the eyes and will bad mouth them whenevr I get a chance. Sounds like a Better Business call is in order. If you order from them again shame on you. They will fool me once but not twice. Yes, I called and got no response. They feed on fools.

Well, for what it's worth, I have had a much different experience with them and appreciate good customer service. I had a problem and they fixed it.

I will order from them again based on my experience with them. I was issued a free frag and a $96 store credit of my $126 total for losing half my polyps. I was refunded based on the polyps I lost.

When finalizing the details of the order with Brandon, he stressed how he really wanted to provide a good product and wanted to know if there were any problems with the orders. Not everything is going to go well on every order but the difference is when something bad happens, this vendor tries to make it right. Please contact him if you have a problem with your order. Thus far, I've had one polyp of three open on my prowlers and my one Tubs Blues polyp opened... but both are so small that I can't see any color - about the size of the width of a standard pencil lead.

I'm holding my breath that they actually live and grow... but it's not looking too good. I don't feel comfortable about complaining to the vendor because there is *something* living on the plug.
