Greetings ...

Just wanted to introduce myself. I'm about to get into the marine hobby, hopefully set up a new tank in a month or so. I have a new home and decided to make the transition from freshwater planted to a reef tank with the new home. I've been to B&B and hope to get most of what I need from them. I hope to do a custom in-wall tank. Always wanted to do something like that. I'm planning on building a 5x8' fish room in the adjacent garage space to make maintenance easier too ...

I've been trying to absorb as much information from here and on the internet in general, but will likely have lots of questions to come!

Looks like you're ready to jump in feet first. Hope you brought a life raft, lol.

Welcome to MAAST!

Thanks everyone! I'll try to do a build thread as I figure stuff out. Gonna take it real slow once I get a tank and it's up and running.

Hey Erik ... I really like B&B ... Andrew seems like a good guy who's really into the hobby first and a businessman second. I like that ...

Welcome... and please post pics of the custom tank. I'm interested in building an in-wall tank at some point in the future.
