Digging around I found some ammo I don't need anymore. I'm looking for 9mm ammo, hollow points or almost any target rounds are fine or various AR parts, preferably stripped lower receiver, optics, misc accessories. Cash is fine too I suppose.

.45 auto - There's a full box of 20 Winchester Supreme SXT 230 grain hollow points and a box with 12 Federal Premium Hydra-Shok hollow points (the other 8 went into a hog and a rattler (didn't have my shovel on me)).

$20 - Brand spanking new box of Winchester .243 WSSM 100 grain power point ammo.

Might check with Jose (seamonkey) as he was looking for some 45 in a trade for a cell phone in his WTT thread.

Hey Jose, well I've now got a STAG stripped lower coming as soon as I find an FFL to have it shipped to and will be placing the order next week for a STAG 6H complete upper, lower parts kit, and A2 stock and stock kit but that upper is going to take about 4 months to get to me.

The ammo sold on another site this morning though, pending payment of course.

4 months man, you have patience

I bet is because of the stag head print on the parts :)

Uh oh, be careful Joshua, BRD (black rifle disease) is a tough one to shake once you get it! It's also very expensive right now, I'm glad I got my stuff before the panic buying started. I'd strongly suggest during those 4 months of waiting for your upper, that you keep an eye out for any ammo you can find at a decent price.

Very true. I was lucky enough to get my hands on 1,000 rds of .223 55 grain for a decent price, but I probably should have ordered 2 cases.

Well my cheapness outweighs my impatience and won that battle so I'll wait rather than pay more to get it now. I found the complete STAG upper with bolt carrier group and charge handle, lower parts kit, stock kit, all for $609 shipped. :D I also now have TWO stripped lowers coming, a STAG and a S&W M&P. :D So now I get to save a little cash and get another one, STAG 4H upper for a more traditional look. Hard to decide, but that 24 inch stainless steel bull barrel on the 6H just too me for a ride.

Yeah I picked a bad time to develop the craving, but what can you do right? Funny way back before the election I thought about buying up some AR stuff and thought nah I don't really want anything like that anyway... and now here I am.

The Academy on 1604/Potranco always has plenty of 55 grain FMJ and last time I was at Cabelas they had a stack of .223 that looked like it was almost a full pallet's worth. I'll probably just order a bunch of 5.56 online though since I need various things like a scope mount and optics anyway.
