Most of the nano skimmers - maybe all - are kind of junk. Frankly, water changes are cheap at that size tank. Buy a bucket of salt.

I agree,I have a 12 gallon Nanocube Deluxe that I hooked up my Aqua C Remora to,didn't pull anything in a weeks time. It's corals only,no fish....maybe that's why.Water changes every other week does fine for me.

I have the Deltec MCE300 and love it. I've tried others such as the nano remora, and they just don't do much.

I have heard good things about the Tunze 9002 as well.

Also, keeping up with frequent water changes as Bill said will help out a lot.

i used to ise the rio nano skimmer on my 30 before I sumped it. It worked great with 2 small mods: airline valve for the adjustment instead of pulling it up and down, and some foam pad in the return to catch the micro bubbles(doesn't produce much bubble after breakin. for 35 bucks you can't beat it!
