I'm sure this question has been asked a million times, but just got some new tests kits for Ca and Alk (Salifert) since I've added some sps for the first time. Did not worry about it too much in the past since I took care of it with water changes in the nano. I'm reading 430 for Ca and 8 for dkh. Think this is OK or would you try to push the dkh up a little. I dose b-ionic manually per bottle instructions.

I wouldn't mess with it too much as long as it stays consistant. As you add more Ca demanding corals, you'll need to adjust accordingly. B-Ionic is my choice for a two part, balanced regime.

I would would push up the dkh, in any case do not let it get below 8.

I usually like to aim for 9 DKH and 450-500 in calcium. DKH also helps stabilize PH. ANyhow, youre still good in my opinion
