Hey Ram,
I could be interested, but have some questions and possible hurdles. How old is the IPod and how long have you had it? Can you give me some idea on music type, genres etc loaded. Why are you getting rid of it? Upgrade? Any scratches on the face? Where did the movies and music come from? CD's or downloads - legal? filesharing? I am asking for 2 reasons, file quality and wondering if you have a program to make copies of DVD's to be able to put onto the Ipod. I would like to put some of my favorite movies, like Jaws so am trying to figure out how to do that.
You are in Corpus, correct? Ever come to San Antonio? Are you going to the MAAST event next weekend? Shipping? Meet somewhere?
Let me know.

There are also a Alternative/Country/R&B/and Rap folders that are a mix of different artists. But it's another 1300 songs. I've started cycling recently and it's just too bulky for me. I want to get the new nano. Not a single scratch on the face. The music has been collected for the past 8 years. All movies are the downloads from my original blu-rays when I bought them. There is one program I might still have, if not, you could always buy it, it's called DVDFab5. It will rip any dvd and make it a compatible Ipod .avi file. I bought it the second week of June. Still have the original box and all accessories. I'm moving to San Antonio on the 31st...start working @ Fort Sam on the 1st. But i go up just about every weekend. Let me know if you are interested.
Thanks
Ram

You have a good mix of music and we have a bunch of overlap (I have about 5300 songs on my 60G, plus movies and tv shows, and games). I am not sure how I would go about incorporating your music and stuff into my itunes library, if I can even do that. I think if I synced your ipod to my computer, it would want to erase your library and put mine on it. I could start on a new computer, with a new blank library. Would it put the stuff on your ipod into the new blank itunes? Thoughts.
I was considering upgrading to the new 120g, which is not too much more than what you are asking, but of course it doesn't come loaded with all the goodies.
I might definately be interested, especially if you had a copy of that dvd program. Let me talk to the wife- Kristy :). I leave for Europe on 4-2-09, so timing might be critical, unless you are down to SA earlier. Back to you more tomorrow. -Mike

Yea, i'm not sure how or if you can incorporate it. I could give you DVD's with my entire music collection. You just wont get to get the games or movies because they are linked to my account. I might be able to get DVDFab. Should be up to SA next weekend.

Kristy is in England, so still have not talked to her about this. I used to have a program called Ipod helper, which I think might let me take stuff from that Ipod and put it onto itunes. Just not sure if it would work. It would leave me with never being able to update the new Ipod, which is not what I want either. If I can't add stuff- music, movies, and playlists and such, then it becomes less appealing. Still considering it, just need to decide how it would all work. I will get back to you Sunday at the latest. PM me you phone number and we can talk more to discuss.

There was a thread a while back asking how to move files from an iPod to a computer, check out the program I mentioned near the bottom of the first page.

The program is called Senuti. It is free, and I have used it with much success.
Not sure if this will help, but I thought I'd let you know just in case.
Good luck.

Hey Ram,
I have been thinking about this all day. Kristy said to just do what I wanted. After much thought, I think I am going to pass on this. It is a good deal for what you are offering, but I also have 5000+ songs on my library, plus videos and games. My 60g is working fine, and I still have 10K plus gigs left of space. If it craps out or I do run out of room, for just a little more, I can buy a new 120g, which I thinks works better for me. This would still be a sweet deal for someone without anything and looking to great total setup right off the bat, assuming they can pull the stuff from the Ipod.
Good luck on the sale. This is a great package deal, just need the right person to snap it up. - Mike
