i think thats what its called

it seems that i cant ever really controll it .... i have one of those blue air valves but to me its like it has to be all the way open and when it is it over flows at times

what can i do to fix this???

Currently, you are dialing back the air for the venturi air intake.

Instead you could use a gate valve to dial back the pump a bit.

can i get this locally ??? i tried the new pump and yea it didn't do anything lol

just me but maybe you need a smaller pump. sounds like you might be over driving the skimmer. if the pump is the right size then salt is building up inside the airline.
try dipping the airline in a cup of RO water while the skimmer is running for a second or two. if that fixes the problem than you need to get a longer airline to pull air further from the sump.
