How far out of level is it? If its say 1/8" across the front or less, it may not need to be leveled, also, the carpet (if there is any) sometimes will settle and adjust on its own... Is the tank filled or empty?

we started putting water in it when we realized it wasn't leveled. We have LR and sand in it at the moment as well. We are taking out the water tomorrow as well as the LR and sand to make it easier to level. my husband suggested shims but i just wanted to make sure that was the right way to go although ketchup is wonderful suggestion :)
the tank has built a build in overflow and it is so unleveled that only one of them really works. It is more like a 1/4" or a little more. for sure needs to be leveled.

forgot to ask, what kind of shims? plastic okay or does it have to be metal being that it will have lots of weight on it?

Make sure you shim the stand and not the tank,, also the plastic ones are fine just make sure insert and break off a shim at every point your are able to once it is leveled
