I am going to be switching tanks here next week and I was wondering if anyone has any ideas on how to put the water back in the tank with out getting the san all clouding the tank. I want to make this as efficient as possible. Also on a side note if anyone has any thing I can hold water in 5 gal jugs or a small tub for coral and water that I can borrow for a day I would appreciate it, Or if you dont mind helping thats good too. haha:hypnotyized:

When I changed thanks I put down the bag that came with the sand that I added in the tank, then poured the water on top of that. It prevented a lot of the sand from being stirred up.

Hey Gary,
Are you pouring or pumping the water back in? When we do water changes we mix it in the 32g brute trash can and then use a spare pump to pump it back in. We spray it into the tank agaisnt the side glass. That might work. We certainly have some buckets you can use, depending on when you are changing over, you could borrow the trash can. Give me a shout.

you can also put a bucket lid in the tank on top of the sand and dump the water onto the lid.
