Seen on another blog an article about ceramic reef rock so i did a little research and found a usa co that makes it. Its cool stuff and super porous. Seems like a great alternative to live rock

I actually bought my ceramic rocks from aquariumspecialty. I started a thread yesterday on my tank. Here it is: http://www.maast.org/forums/showthread.php?t=49578

Scott (owner of aquariumspeicalty) and Laurance (owner of aquaroche) were very good at helping me pic out rocks and even sending out arrangements of what my setup would look like before I bought the rocks. All I did was tell them a couple of the big pieces I was interested in and the dimension of my new tank.
