Love the colors. Reefs take on a whole new look from top-down. Love it.

I've read a pretty good amount about zevoit and brightwells version (neo-zeo). It's a lot of fairly scientific reading. I just wonder how much of what those two systems achieve are because of the products. Or is it because the people who use it pay more attention to their tanks becaues of the really involved dosing and constant checking of parameters? I'm not eniterly sold on the basis of zeolite in an aquarium. I know it's a good industrial absorbant, I just wonder how much Ca gets leeched as well. There is no question both have some pretty awesome reults from tanks that follow both methods. So please i'm not bashing either system if it works for you, great!
Thanks to talking to Clone over at Reef2u, and researching I am trying modified neo-zeo method without the zeolite, but with microbacter7, etc. (here is to hoping all my black plastic doesn't turn to goo!!)

well zevoit and neo zeo are basically the same thing it seems like both work and yes I feel it is partially due to people checking peram more often to get the corals healthy. I have also heard many good things about vodka dosing with bac7. In the end I feel many reefers have really really nice looking corals without these systems. I feel if you check your water every month and keep the tank stable with proper lighting you can save a ton of money vs these systems and have same results. This is my opinion.

That's what's been holding be back on either of these. Looks to be very expensive over the long run.
Nice top down shots!
