I. MACNA - Special BOD meeting to plan MACNA presentation - deadline March 1st.
A. Misti passed out notebooks to all BOD members with MACNA info needed to work on presentation
B. If awarded, MACNA will provide "Planning Manual" - includes timelines and templates & databases as guidelines.
C. Host Bid:
1. Instroduction (MAAST about San Antonio)
2. MAAST Bid Stmt - printed sample bid of 2004 by WAMAS
D. Possible other MAAST members to help on MACNA

E. Planning:
1. 1 1/2 yrs. to plan
2. Possible dates? Sept. 14,15,16
3. Estimation attendance: 1200
4. Misti working with Convention Center on pricing & availability

6. Marriott best bet for "headquarters" - Social events are welcome
a. room for expansion if increase of exhibitors happens - flexibility
7. Downpayment
a. Modest - Don't overdo
b. Workable per MACNA
8. Transportation
a. 14 passenger vans - $46 hr.
9. "Things to do in SA"
a. Imax - Coral Reef Presentations
b. SeaWorld
c. Zoo
II. Absence of BOD Members:
A. Per By Laws - 3 meetings missed in 1 yr term:
1. Daniel Flores eliminated
2. StephenA replacement per BOD vote and his approval
III. Cafe Press:
A. Pricing discussed - 10% profit
B. No limit on choice
C. BOD Polo Shirts neded for Borneman lecture
D. Steven to handle order & payments
E. Chris to provide logo
IV. Sponsors
A. Steven discusses new Sponsors added & renewals (great job!!)
