Immediate dismissal of missing BOD members (3rd no show) (Dave)
I. CURRENT FINANCES:
A. Savings Account: $840.99 (split account to open checking Acct.)
B. Checking Account: $1,571.25
C. Expenditures: $750 for T-Shirts
$28.75 for checks for Checking Account
II. LOCATIONS / MEETINGS:
A. August Meeting @ Blake's - SAT
1. Frags from ERI - promised to ship but not in yet - possibility a problem
getting in time for meeting. Ray to check w/his supplier.
Consists of: 20 corals - softies, acros, macros, zoos, mushrooms
B. September Meeting
1. Still working - possibly Austin Aquariums (Austin) - wants to cover "Dipping"
C. October Meeting
1. StephenA - Cedar Park - Austin area - close to Halloween - possibility
the 23rd or 24th. - Frags / short informative meeting?
D. November in San Antonio
E. December in San Antonio - For elections
1. 5th? - early in month - Voting
2. Social meeting
III. DISCUSSION OF SAND BANK IDEA: Dismissed
A. Not good to put "MAAST" name behind it - due to problems w/flatworms
IV. MAAST INVOLVEMENT:
A. Sponsor relations:
1. Local SA area - Misti / Other - Chris
2. Assistant to Meetings Committee:
A. Adam for Austin area
1. To put together "Sponsor Packages" - typed up
2. Contact 2 weeks before - up to $40 reimbursement
3. Radio, IMAX, Film & Speakers - Matt may have contacts
4. MAAST cannot afford guest speaker for now due to T-Shirts
5. Chris to send Adam (Kinkos) plans for business cards
6. Banner - Logo difficult due to ripples in water behind clownfish
B. New Accountant? (Previous meeting question)
1. Possibly need to post a thread "within" group
2. MARSH has member "Brad" that is their accountant
3. Post to draw interest - Chris for "Accountant" & Misti "What Do You Do?"
C. Newsletter Committee
1. Quarterly - "Nothing to do" up to now
2. Could cover: Breeding, Past Meetings, Future Meetings, Fun Facts, etc
3. Chris to check w/Nano Steve to see if he wants to get involved w/format
4. Charter Members Only Coupons
5. "TOTM" receives new T-Shirt - (Maybe gift certificate later)
6. MAAST Calendar??

1. Joshua hass access - Plus Jim Norris (?)
2. Domain transfer out of Chris' name - under Company Name for PayPal
3. Need to use "Directors & Dignitaries" forum more
4. Look for good "writer" on posts. Need "down to earth" knowledge on
subjects
5. Need writeup for front page of website

member.
