Not being familiar with the AMD products any longer is this dual core, and will run 64 bit os if I wanted to upgrade? I figured it would from the whole Turion 64 but wanted to check. I might want to look at this for my wife.

From what I understand it runs both 32 and 64 bit operating systems. I don't think it's dual core though. I'm a web developer and used this laptop to work on when outside of my home office which wasn't very often. It's in great shape and runs fast.
