Little Ammonia Spike

Well I guess I overfed my qt. I got a .50 ppm spike. I am in the process of doing a 50% water change. I do 15% water changes twice a week. Any other ideas to lower the ammonia? besides not overfeeding of course....as I have stopped this already lol.

That's the problem with QT tanks - no live rock or bio filtration = ammonia.

Big wter changes.
