I have a lot of stuff floating in my water. How can I make it super clear? I don't like to see all this stuff in the tank

Syphoning, mechanical filtration, and coal are usually preferred methods. Am I missing something?

Not an expert, but just as I was looking at a HOT magnum with micron filter that I noticed that the bulk of my 'debris' was swimming bugs.
Not sure how many are left as my chromis seem to enjoy them after the lights are turned on in th am.

change the direction of your powerhead if you have them

I run the solana. Its full of sps frags. And only 3 fish. Lots of them are pods. But not sure how much of it is pods and the other just debri. I have filter floss in my 2nd chamber. Doesn't do much. Maybe I should clean my return pump and its chamber as it is kind of dirty back there

the ocean is not crystal clear water. some of that stuff is good, but I would use an easily removable HOB filter for a cheap fix. BigKGlen uses purigen I think in a reactor, and his tank os like high definition clear.

If your return pump has a pre filter, you can get debris plus air bubbles. Also, rubbing your eyes while looking at the tank doesn't help either, so be wary of that. :D
