1. How long should I wait to water test my plumbing after using the PVC cement?
2. I have to use adapters in my bulkheads to reduce them to 3/4 for loc-line. All I found were those schedule 40 white adapters from Lowe's. Can I spray paint those black and put them inside the tank?

use plastic paint and they should be fine - just be sure you dont paint the part that glues into the bulkhead.
you only have to wait about 5 minutes after gluing pvc.

Thanks Ace, I am going to be out all day saturday and sunday, so I am going to take that box out and clean it up for you. Try to get it to you tomorrow evening before I leave.

What Ace said. They aren't under any real pressure. The can says 24 hours for maximum strength, but there's so little pressure compared to a house water system.

Thanks guys, I have it running right now, and thus far no :what_smile: gulp, do i dare say it:what_smile::what_smile: leaks.
Now, if I can just figure out where these darned microbubbles are coming from. :at_wits_end::at_wits_end: (well not really, i don't have hair...LOL...but you get the point).....but that is a problem for another day, I think...

bubbles going to the DT? are they coming from your skimmer or the bubbles from the drain that end up getting sucked up by the return?
