I got a little jealous of traci's picture taking so I tried to take some today with fer $20 ebay point and shoot. She has a real nicecannon but its too complicated for me.Unfortunately most of the pics are not focused properly cause she told me about the lense focus thing after I was done? well the close ones came out pretty good so here goes!

Great colors Mike!

Who knew that the next addiction (after the reef thing) becomes the photography thing? They seem to naturally just go hand in hand and that's just another example of how much we did not know what all we were getting into when we decided to dabble in salt. I sure wish my husband and I knew how to take decent pics!

Thanks everyone!! My girlfriends son was making fun of me cause I was so exited.I wish the other 40 pics I took werent worthless but Im pretty happy with the lucky ones that came out. lots to learn!!

thanks, your rics are doing pretty good so far. all the pics with egg crate are in my sump under t5. I had to cover the lights with a book to kill the glare so they are being mostly lit by just the cameras flash in those pics, traci cropped the cameras flash out of the pics.I am going to move the shrooms to the main tank under mh like you had them when I find a good spot for them

thanks guys, I had alot of fun taking them, I almost croaked that acan when I put him under my mh lights. he lives in the sump under t5 for now.Iset up a 75 gal low light tank a month ago he is going in there when its ready

Dude... Those are some of the nicest purple people eaters i have ever seen, the green skirts just pop out and the purple is nice and bold. Like the Armageddons too.. Huge zoanthid fan here! Congrats

they are actually jokers, and they look much nicer than all of my ppe's except for the ones I got from danny v. All of my pe's only look good if you shade them, if not they speckle.So far danny's are holding their color in high light and are almost as deeply colored as the jokers with no speckling.I just hope they grow as big as his, they are monster huge. I would not have believed it if I didnt see them with my own eyes.

I wish I knew. In fact all of his palys were real real big. the ppe's stood out cause ppe's are stunning.I asked him if he was feeding them blood or something. he just laughed.Im watching my frag. If that baby doesnt grow into its humongus mom, then I think dannyv may be holding out on us.

Cool... Once i setup my 75g sps and move my current corals, my biocube will become a zoanthid tank. Love the jokers, though they were ppe but thanks for the correction. Did you buy them from a reefer or from a store?

they are daurth mauls, similar to nightmare palys. I took a pic of my nightmares but it came out cruddy, mauls are stripey and nightmares are speckly. I believe the mauls I had before were actually nightmares. these two morphs red wines and true armageddons melt if you even look at them the wrong way. here is a pic of my old nightmares hopefully I wont kill my new ones this time. O ya I also killed a small colony of red wines too. heartbreakers!
