I just got a new fixture that houses 8 48" T5 bulbs and looking at different color schemes. Currently running 4 10K HO and 4 blue atinics. Any suggestions?

What would you recommend, as far as bulb count for each, for an 8 bulb fixture?

WOW, what sized tank? What fixture???? You can't leave out the good info!

RC's search is down, at least for unpaid members. Otherwise I would search there and see what grimreefer suggests. You may want to prod around on zeovit.com and check out some of their setups since they typically are all T5 driven.

ATI Blue Plus bulbs aren't, technically speaking, actinic bulbs. They are a high par blue bulb. However, they are an excellent bulb and I highly recommend them, but they won't make your corals colors "pop" like a true actinic bulb will.

That having been said, I would (based on my experience with my 6 bulb retro) recommend the following:

3x ATI Blue Plus (I run 2 of these)
2x Geissman Actinic Plus (Just got one of these and LOVE IT!)
2x ATI Aquablue Special (I run 1 of these)
1x KZ Fiji Purple (I run 1 of these)

Are the T5s supplemental or your main lights?
Why don't you run any daylight bulbs?

Its a 55g tank, 60p LR, the only coral I have is some green star polyps and they are responding fast. The tank was just set up at Christmas and everything is going good. Also got a 15g fuge going with alternating light from a 10k power compact. My tank is getting warm so ill probly have to get a fan.

Its a Nova Extreme by Current w/ single parabolic reflector.

Are you looking for a white or blue scheme? The joy of T5 lighting is you can mix it up and get the exact look you're going for. I

WOW! Looks awesome:applause: I love the way rimless tanks look and the rockwork is rediculous! The light definitly has a blue scheme, but not as blue as i thought. I guess the blue plus just adds a little more blue than a reg 10k bulb. Hopefully one day ill be in a league were i can hang with the big dogs! Just got into the hobby so building my knowledgebase and going from there.
