Livestock to add at one time to a tank that has been established for over 1 1/2 years? Right now I have three fish (2 o. clowns, 1 royal gramma) a rock covered in polyps (don't know what kind) and an condy anemone, and a hermit crab that needs a new home, cause I don't think he's reef safe (he came with the tank). It's a 30 gallon tank, with 25 pounds (give or take) of live rock and about 2 inches of live sand (could use more live sand). The Cleaner Package- 30 gallons includes the following: 10 Cerith Snails, 5 Nerite Snails, 5 Margarita Snails, 1 Sand Sifting Starfish, 5 Red Leg Hermit Crabs, 5 Blue Leg Hermit Crabs, 1 Medium Cleaner Shrimp and 1 Arrow Crab.

THANKS!!

It should be fine.

I am not sure about the sand sifting starfish or arrow crab in a 30 gallon. There is a good chance the starfish will slowly starve to death and the crab has a bad reputation for grabbing at small fish and critters. Just my 2 cents... they might be totally fine. - Mike

That's what I was thinking too.

I agree, they should be fine to add all at once. But as Kristy said, the star and arrow are a bad idea. I'd also pull the margaritas, they require cooler tank temps than we normally run.

If you could order as a custom set, just remove those 3 items. Maybe sub some different or more of the other snails.
